WA Moth News - 11 February, 2003

On the weekend of 8/9 February, Rohan Veal went over to Perth to have a sail with the local WA mothies on the Swan River at Nedlands Yacht Club.

Others present were:

• Glen Oldfield - with a reasonable new monofilm Stuart Bell sail with a rather large head.
• Peter Kovesi - pumped up again with all the action on the water.
• Alan Punch - picking up his new Prowler Moth, camera man and power boat driver.
• John Ilett - boat fixer-uper-er and test sailed Punchy's new boat.
• Brett Burvill - put on a new raking rig system the night before.

It was only about 10-12 knots, but enough to get the foilers flying high and fast!
