Magic Marine has again approached us and said they want to support the Victorian Moth fleet and our GP Series.  Please consider supporting them by using their gear if your looking at buying new stuff.  Leigh Dunstan can certainly help you out with discounted prices if your looking so feel free to drop him a line.  He has been wearing their gear for a couple of seasons and loves it!

It was great start to the season with 5 boats attending. The winds were on the light side with race 3 finishing in a drift off against the time limit. Races on Sunday had a little for pressure, however there were enough holes across the course to make it quite inconsistant.

Leigh sailed a flawless regatta to finish with a clean sheet. Paul was starting the year strongly with some good races. I struggled in the marginal condition. Chris Brick had a good start to sailing with the class. We look forward to him improving throughout the year. James turned up with his trailer for the first time since he started building it years ago, what a work of art! He even managed to take 2 bolts out of it to replace his missing ruidder pin and make it out for the last race.

The first round of the Victorian Moth Grand Prix Series will be held at Bendigo Yacht Club as part of the Ice Breaker Regatta.

This was the first un offical meeting of the Victorian Moth fleet last year and due to the great weekend that was enjoyed, we decieded to add it this year to the GP circuit.

Planning for the remaining events and venues for this seasons GP series are well underway. This year we propose to have 7 events or chapters, as they call it in Europe, with 2 drops. Last year we had 6 events and only one drop which made it a little unfair if you couldn't attend all of them.  So as soon as some of these clubs release their schedule of events we will confirm ours. Stay turned.
